It doesn’t get much heavier in dubstep than the music coming out on Never Say Die Black Label. Whether it’s straight up dubstep or its close cousin riddim, you can be sure that anything coming out of Black Label is going to leave your bones shaking. Such is the case with “Nice One” from Leotrix, out today.
“Nice One” is the third of four tracks coming out on Leotrix’s Hive EP, out tomorrow. The sound design on this one is especially impeccable, but I chose to premiere this single out of the others because of the mental image it gave me. All of the metalic and robotic synths make for Excision-esque visuals like a giant robot terrorizing a major metropolitan town. Its power is figuratively so great there’s nowhere to escape to.
