Out today on Wakaan is the brand new four-track EP from Shlump, whose sound has been described as “Alien Bass Music.” Coming out of California, he has whipped up a vibe-filled storm with System Crash.
One of the tunes that we’re really digging is ‘Spaceflight,’ which is the final cut of the four. Nailing its classic ode to dubstep bass drops, the track is spiked with electronic edge and comes at you with flying force.
Shlump says of this release: “With System Crash,’ I had the intention to curate an EP that broke conventional genre boundaries. I took inspiration from many different, strange places and wanted each track to have a vibe of its own. The goal was to create songs that would bend the normal “formula.”
