Zeal, who is a native of Melbourne, has a few releases under his name. Influences from “Shelter”-era Porter Robinson and Madeon are evident as this song incorporates gentle synth chords and distant drums. There is also an uplifting message from both Paintriip’s and Yohanna’s lyrics despite their differing approaches on the track and the dazed atmosphere presented with Zeal’s instrumental. What makes this song fascinating is that Zeal packs different elements together and they end up blending almost seamlessly.
