A$AP Rocky was forced to cancel his Tomorrowland 2019 performance and he remains behind bars. But, fellow artist Virgil Abloh made sure the rapper was strongly represented at the music festival.
Abloh unleashed a rarity onto the crowd — Swedish House Mafia‘s upcoming collaboration with none other than A$AP Rocky. Not only did this moment express Abloh’s deep appreciation for the track, but it also symbolized his support for Rocky, echoed by much of the music industry.
Before playing out “Frankenstein,” Abloh took to the mic. “With this we’re gonna get Rocky home right quick,” he said.
The Off-White designer and DJ/producer encouraged fans to capture the moment — “Pull out your phone, record this one, this is a very rare one.”
