Excision is preparing to drop his Apex: The Remixes album next week, but we’ve got the exclusive premiere of the “Home” remix from Spag Heddy early!
The fact that this is my second Spag Heddy premiere so far this month is not a fact that should be overlooked. Not only is he putting out incredible music, he’s putting it out incredibly fast. His “Home” remix is no exception and it was immediately my first choice when I was offered to premiere a track from the remix album.
“Home” is already a different tune than what Excision would normally put out, and it seems that Spag has capitalized on those differences and bolstered them even further. The melodic side is kept pretty much intact while the dubstep elements are brought to the forefront, much like how Must Die! remixed “Emotional” from Flux Pavilion and Matthew Koma.
