After years of music and touring, Ekali is finally preparing to release his debut album, and the lead single is out today, “Runaway” feat. Reo Cragun.
Reo Cragun was most recently featured on Flume’s single “Friends,” making his feature on Ekali’s debut album single all the more impressive. “Runaway” also shares some similarities with Flume’s music, though that’s purely coincidental. The single is deeply emotional and shows a different side to Ekali than we’ve seen on many of his other tracks.
There’s a lot more to expect from Ekali as the year progresses, so keep an eye out. In the meantime, check out the first single from his album below.
