A little over a week ago, Israeli DJ Ronen Dahan, aka DJ Perplex, was murdered by multiple gunmen who opened fire at a crowded dance music club in Mexico. Now, police have arrested a suspect in the murder.
According to Mexican media, the suspect already has a criminal record and was convicted of murder two years ago. He’s only been identified as Victor N. — no other information was given.
One other person was killed in the attack, and four others wounded. Motives for the attack are still unknown, but believed to be related to ongoing drug cartel violence. Dahan was not a direct target according to any evidence. 
As of July 1, a fundraiser successfully raised enough money to send Dahan’s body back to Israel for burial.
