Tomorrowland is going all out with its 15th anniversary — including a 60-piece orchestra ensemble and two entire performances to go with it. Magical journeys sounded by the Symphony of Unity will be woven into the festival experience, highlighting The Metropole Orchestra‘s own Metropole Academy.
Classical and electronic music are destined to unite and unfold on stage like never before, as Tomorrowland presents the Symphony of Unity over both weekends, coming this July 21st and July 28th. The unique sets promise the all-time and most iconic Tomorrowland anthems, celebrating the festival’s vast musical history into an hour-long spectacle.
Respected conductor Dirk Brossé will lead the Metropole Academy and Symphony of Unity at Tomorrowland. In a press statement, he reveals what the performance means to him:
In my 40-year career I have conducted world-class orchestras in the most prestigious concert halls around the world, from the Royal Albert Hall in London to the Sydney Opera House and the Carnegie Hall in New York, and many more. However, performing at Tomorrowland, the world’s most famous and most original and artistic festival, will undoubtedly be a lifelong highlight.
Classical music including “Tomorrowland Hymn” by renowned composer Hans Zimmer is to be expected, and an overall beautiful, orchestral sound for the ages.
