“Light” by San Holo is one of the biggest songs in electronic music in recent years, owing not only to high streaming numbers, but its ubiquity in DJ sets across the spectrum (not to mention that Nitti Gritti edit — you know the one). Now, Chris Lake & Lee Foss are set to release their new song “Lies, Deception and Fantasy” tomorrow, and it sounds eerily similar.
A teaser video posted this past Sunday by Chris Lake offers up the majority of the song, including the chorus (see full lyrics here).
