I often write in my articles that if you do one think to make me like a track, it’s include horns. Of course, I often write that in articles with great horns. Another musical element that immediately attracts me is a sort of tribal vibe, with drums, strings, and chants.
Maybe it’s the callback to a more primitive, collective time, but SWAYLÓ’s “Ocean Flame” makes me feel like dancing around a bonfire. On top of the tribal 808s and the chants, the trap beat infuses everything together like a silky butter in a dessert and helps to keep everything in line.
