Ram Records has just added a new release from New Zealand born, London based producer Joe Moses aka Need For Mirrors. With the Royal Blood EP on their sister label ProgRAM already under his belt this year, Need For Mirrors makes the step up to RAM with two sublime bits of music.
‘Arp Tune’ moves with reverb-laden piano stabs and arpeggiated notes (hence the title..), conjuring up a cinematic listening experience, while ‘Reverie’ is a slightly more delicate affair: plucked string melodies and rippling synths add depth to the constant, shuffling breaks and beat patterns.
