LICK has had a phenomenal couple of months. From his remixes of Skrillex and Virtual Self to his recent DIMENSION EP on Deadbeats, this up and coming producer is taking the mid tempo world by storm. However, he shows up with something new for his latest offering.
Taking on Seven Lions’ hit “Lose Myself”, LICK offers up his typical bass heavy mid tempo sound that we’ve come to know LICK for. He then takes the song in a completely new direction that we haven’t heard from him by bringing in a future bass drop. It’s great to see artists exploring new sounds and venturing outside of their comfort zone and I think LICK did it spectacularly here.
