Nitepunk‘s latest release, “Mad Beats” is a straight up weapon if we’ve ever heard one — with drops to live for and a breakdown to die for.
The producer’s enticing drum patterns hook us from the jump and it only gets better from there. Nitepunk masterfully progresses his groove, shaping “Mad Beats” into a thrilling, 3-minute ride with switch-ups that amplify the mood at every opportunity. Bold synths and complex rhythms make the production stand out in a crowd of releases. By the end of the track, “Mad Beats” lives up to its name as madness ensues.
Tapping into unclassified genres seems to be the name of Nitepunk’s game. His back catalog rocks a vast range of styles with a high standard for quality, but disregard for the norm. To date, “Mad Beats” is perhaps the most lively representation of Nitepunk’s sound, which we can’t wait to hear even more of.
