The “first …” in any artist’s career is important. First show, first track, first album… for DJ’s, the debut mix is equally important. It’s the first piece of long content that a fan can take home and listen to as often as they’d like and feel like they’re at a show. For 1788-L, that debut mix just premiered on the legendary Annie Nightingale Presents on BBC Radio 1.
1788-L was preceded by The Streets and Ray Volpe, but soon enough, the synthetic automaton took hold and it was only mayhem from there. As with any 1788-L set, there were a number of IDs played, even in the relatively short time for this mix. By our count, there were 5 IDs in here plus plenty of live edits.
He gets started about an hour in. Enjoy!
