REPORT: “What Are Those?” Meme Sensation Died Of Accidental Overdose

Brandon Moore, the guy behind the viral “what are those” meme died of an apparent overdose. He passed away Sunday, November 25, at age 31 — and now we finally know the reason why.

According to a report from TMZ, the meme sensation ingested a cocktail of drugs including cocaine and ecstasy, which led to his death. The exact cause of death was listed as “polypharmacy” by the Contra Costa County Coroner, which means he died from taking multiple drugs.

Another source lists even more substances that were in his system: cocaine, morphine, codeine, methamphetamine, and ecstasy. There is no evidence that Moore intentionally took the drugs to harm himself. The death was officially listed as an “accidental overdose” by the Contra Costa County Coroner.

The internet comedian, known as Young Busco went viral in 2015 for the video below. As his friend was being arrested, he poked fun at an officer by zooming in on his uniform shoes and saying — “What are those?”
