It’s been a long time since the world has seen new music from Caravan Palace, nearly three years to be precise — if you don’t count their 2017 cover of “Black Betty.” But the French group is ready to start 2019 off with a bang, dropping the single “Miracle.”
“Miracle” is an infectious, groove-laden piece of electronica which sees their sound evolve once again. This is the first taste of the band’s next album, due for release this year. Compared their earliest work on Caravan Palace and Panic, there’s less swing and more indie on this record. That being said, it still carries their classic instrumental sound and electronica influence, which has become a hallmark of the group.
