Festival season is fast approaching and one of the biggest offshoots of festivals-at-large are transformative festivals. Here in Southern California, events like LIB, Desert Hearts, even Dirtybird Campout welcome attendees to not just go to a show, but to become part of a community. If you’re further North up the coast, you might want to check out Serenity Gathering. Taking place about 90 miles outside the San Francisco Bay Area, Serenity Gathering is a 3-day experience of art, music, and open-air education.
