Everyone is buzzing over the strong possibility of an Ekali x Skrillex collab coming to fruition soon.
One screenshotted image was enough to send both fan bases into a frenzy today. The post below originally surfaced on Ekali’s Instagram and was deleted shortly after — but not before it was captured and posted all over the internet.
The image clearly shows Ekali working in his DAW — normal stuff — but it’s the file name that set everyone off. “Ekali & Skrillex – ID1” appears to be in progress and the hype is real. 
Skrillex remixed Ekali’s massive original production “Babylon.” Before that, Ekali and Gravez remixed “Mind” by Jack Ü (aka Skrillex and Diplo). However, the two have yet to release an official collaboration together.
We’re dealing with two of the very best in the game here — and we absolutely can’t wait to hear where this goes!
