Getter, Flosstradamus & More Discuss Mental Health During Q&A Session [WATCH]

When it comes to the music industry (or any industry for that matter), it’s important to recognize mental health as a priority. This is exactly why artists including Getter and Flosstradamus recently joined a panel to discuss mental health, during a live Q&A facilitated by Icon Collective and Back To Back.

Long hours, unpredictable pay, and overall stressful situations are just the beginning of artist struggles — especially on the way up to the top. As a bigger act, that shifts into hefty tour schedules, even more time on the road, and potential tolls on health and wellness. Not to mention, DJ/producers are expected to put themselves out there with their art and social media presence. It’s a demanding gig to say the least.

In the video below, Getter, Flosstradamus, Aryay, and Blaise DeAngelo weigh in on their own personal experiences and the importance of mental health in the industry. We commend these artists for being open and honest about the hurdles they’ve faced. The better we can all understand, the better we can all build a support system for the EDM community and beyond.

Watch over an hour’s worth of footage from the live Q&A, posted below via Back To Back.
