Whethan delighted fans with the release of Life of a Wallflower Vol. 1 at the end of 2018, including collaborations with HONNE, Oh Wonder, and Broods. The EP also included a collaboration with Bipolar Sunshine called “Top Shelf.” It’s a high-energy and, one might even say spunky tune thanks to the creative use of vocal chopping and the melody that is found within.
Today, one of our favorite producers Heroless dropped his remix to the hit which makes use of the best parts of the original while putting his own spin on it. Much of the vocal chops are still intact, but the overall melody and tempo is made a bit slower, a bit more dreamy. The last 30 seconds or so also uses an additional synth in harmony with the lead synth for a fantastic effect.
