It’s hard to argue that Excision isn’t one of the most engaged artists when he’s doing stuff like this. Each year, the bass king opens up a poll to fans to vote on lineups for his annual festivals. Lost Lands began in 2017 and Bass Canyon had its inaugural year in 2018, but for the first time, both festivals are out of their trial phase in 2019. And with expectations so high, why not let the fans help out a little?
Scrolling through the artist poll is like looking at a roster of pretty much every major bass act – and some curveballs – that has ever been. Everyone from legends Chase & Status, Sub Focus and Emalkay to newcomers Lord Swan3x, 1788-L, and TenGraphs is included in the poll.
