Marshmello had his biggest year yet: 2 billion streams, 114 million fans, and 117 million hours of listening in 65 countries to be exact. This, according to his massive, year end Spotify Wrapped stats.
It’s no wonder, because in 2018 alone the masked DJ/producer put out an entire album, Joytime II, plus a slew of singles and big name collabs. “Spotlight” with Lil Peep, “Friends” with Anne-Marie and “Happier” with Bastille, just to name a few. All of which contributed to Mello’s huge 2018.
“made it out I made them believe,” he says in a brief statement. “thank you to the mellogang, I love you all @Spotify.” 
So what’s 2019 look like for Marshmello? The sky is the limit.
