Woodstock is planning on a major comeback for its 50th anniversary next year, and now we have even more details about the future celebration, thanks to The Festive Owl and sources close to the event.
Detailed below you’ll find all the information from the previous leak, including potential headliners, and lots of new information. In speaking with the CEO of INVNT, The Festive Owl can confirm the music festival will take place August 16 – 18, 2019 at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (BWCA). That’s the same historic site of the 1969 Woodstock bash.
However, the event is not going to be called Woodstock, or Journey On like the flyers below suggest. Much like the original Woodstock events, it will be “a celebration of music, culture and community, featuring live music acts, talks and special exhibitions.”
New info from the sources say this event is in no way affiliated with the Woodstock brand or co-founder Michael Lang. Hmm…
More information will be provided in the coming months. See below.
