The second-ever electronic music show I saw in my life was Chase & Status in Los Angeles at the Music Box, now called The Fonda, in 2011. Over the years, I’d see them twice more: once at the House of Blues on Sunset and once at HARD Summer, both in 2014. Since 2014, Chase & Status have not played in Los Angeles… until this Friday.
The prodigal duo returns to Avalon Hollywood this Friday to play their first Los Angeles show in four years, bringing with them the inimitable Black Sun Empire. This is one show that drum & bass heads will absolutely not want to miss.
