Who is Deathpact? No one seems to know. The producer’s identity has yet to be revealed and the SoundCloud profile hails from Unknown, United States. What we do know is that he or she or they just unleashed a massive new reprise of ODESZA‘s “Loyal” that you need to hear now.
Where ODESZA offers up one of their boldest musical atmospheres yet, Deathpact only builds upon it. Trading out a majority of the deep horns for equally deep arps and a healthy serving of distortion makes for an unusual twist on this crowd pleaser. The mysterious producer drives the trap banger into a midtempo blaster, hardening up the track in the process.
