YOOKiE’s Solo Debut EP Goes Even Harder Than Expected [LISTEN]

YOOKiE - BASSiCS YOOKiE - BASSiCS

YOOKiE is bringing it back to the basics so to speak with their newish EP, BASSiC. The release packs five of their heaviest releases to date, maintaining the most important aspect of bass music — bass, obviously.

The duo serves up collaborations with Kai Wachi and G-REX to start things off properly, and from there YOOKiE takes off with their own sound. “Human Annihilation” is easily the most unforgiving, followed by “Brain Warp,” which is sure to lose some minds. By the time “Last Transmission” ends, you are at YOOKiE’s mercy.

These guys actually got shut down for going “too hard” during a set, so it’s only appropriate that their debut solo EP goes as hard as it does. Listen below and go crazy.

The art within the artificial: instrumentation computed in utter harmony with the brains of those willing to lend themselves, their ears, and their youth to the ends of ecstasy. Bass presence hums through a melody that leaves a gathering bouncing to its pulse; a perfect synergy of careless consequence and pure energy. It all centers around a single name: “YOOKiE.”
