David Guetta, Jason Derulo and Nicki Minaj teamed up at the 2018 MTV European Music Awards last night for no ordinary performance. This proved to be one of the most spectacular of the entire night.
Guetta stationed himself behind the decks on the stage as Derulo sang his heart out with a rendition of the classical tune “Time to Say Goodbye,” made famous by Andrea Bocelli. The stage transformed into a ballroom as the singer opened up with an opera-inspired routine.
The performance took a shift as Guetta introduced “Goodbye,” his mega collab with both artists that just so happens to sample that same classic. To top off the elaborate onstage affair, Nicki Minaj showed up to execute her verses with much precision.
It isn’t everyday this type of triple-threat collab comes to life on stage, but the MTV EMAs was just the place. Watch the live performance in full here!
