Wolfgang Gartner has had one of the most brilliant comebacks in EDM history. Though he never completely left, his heyday is long gone… or was? With new support from management at ALT:VISION and a reinvigorated passion for the musical style that brought him notoriety in the first place, Gartner is making a massive break for the top.
In 2018 alone, he dropped a collab with k?d; his song “Ching Ching” received massive radio support and is now featured in Microsoft’s racing game Forza Horizon 4; and his single “The Upside Down” with JayKode hit the viral charts in the U.S. Now, he’s following it all up with a new single “Deja Vu” and an official EP announcement.
Longtime fans of Gartner are sure to immediately recognize the sounds and styles incorporated into “Deja Vu” – perhaps that’s part of the reason for its title? It all feels like we’ve heard this before. But until mimicry, this is deja vu… the feeling of nostalgia is there with a fresh coat of paint and, like we said before, reinvigorated passion. 
Along with the new single, Gartner has officially announced his next EP, Medicine, out November 2. No word yet on tracklist or collaborators, but with only one week to go, we don’t have to wait long to find out!
