The Avicii Netflix documentary True Stories notoriously painted the Swedish producer in a very bright light, exposing many of his harshest difficulties with health and touring. When Avicii died this past April, the documentary was removed from Netflix. Now, it might be coming back.
A new post on Instagram from True Stories producer and director Levan Tsikurishvili points to the possibility. The photo posted is the blurred out cover of the documentary, along with the caption, “Watch out!!!
#somethingiscomingsoon #ATS.”
The hashtag #ATS could very easily mean Avicii: True Stories.
So are we going to be seeing this documentary again soon? Will it appear in its original version or will it be edited to include testimonials from after the producers death? Or will it be edited to leave some not-so-savory bits out from the original? We don’t yet have answers to any of these questions, but it seems we’ll be finding out “soon.”
