Out now on the continually impressive Absent Mind label is the debut single from the mysterious production duo Unlovable. Intent on letting their music do the talking, Unlovable premiere on the label with the single ‘Just Friends.’
With a sound lending itself to 80’s soundtracks and late 2000’s synth-wave, its synth patterns and drawn out vocals give this mid-tempo cut a little more punch than on previous releases from this label – one that is fast becoming a favourite. ‘Just Friends’ is an essential listen and despite very little being known about its creators, I would advise you to wrap your ears around this one.
