In another edition of “headlines I wasn’t expecting to write today,” a new Sleeping Beauty-inspired ballet entitled Sleeping Beauty Dreams will have music specially created for the production by EDM pioneers Noisia.
The performance is touted as “an innovative, tech-inspired, EDM-influenced ballet” that will feature “the first-ever fusion of live contemporary ballet dance with 3D digital avatars projected on-stage in real-time.”
Sounds like just the sort of thing Noisia would want to be involved in.
You can see the performance at the Ziff Ballet Opera House at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts on December 7 and 8. Tickets are available here.
