As promised, Marshmello has released his song with Egyptian vocalist and writer Amr Diab. Entitled “Bayen Habeit (In Love),” Marshmello also called it one of his favorite songs he’s made – let’s see what all the fuss is about.
The entire song is in Arabic, so most fans will likely have a tough time identifying with the song beyond the basic production (though there are subtitled in the video). Marshmello has said that it’s a song about love, which is at least fairly easily conveyed by the vibe of the song – it’s certainly not a banger.
“Bayen Habeit (In Love)” is Marshmello’s first foreign-language song, and though he’s already been global in a performance sense, this track will no doubt expose him to millions more listeners across the world. And furthermore by teaming up with Amr Diab, who has 9.5 million followers on Twitter alone, he’ll be reaching an absolutely massive audience.
