The Brig is dropping his Drunken Master EP on Firepower Records this Friday, but not before we at Your EDM have the chance to share one of our favorite tracks off the EP, “High Noon.”
The only bass house tune on the EP, “High Noon” stands out with some fresh electric guitar plucks in the beginning accentuated by some classic hip hop beats. Sure enough, the track suddenly takes a sharp turn and breaks into some unique and poppy bass house that is entirely on brand for The Brig. A self-described Russian electro-Swashbuckler supremo, “High Noon” is a fine example of why we first fell in love with his sounds in the first place.
