SLANDER and RIOT just blew us away with their brand new collaboration “You Don’t Even Know Me,” out now via Monstercat. This release marks the leading single from SLANDER’s forthcoming 4-track EP, The Headbangers Ball expected in November.
“You Don’t Even Know Me” starts out soft and subtle, rocking a melodic atmosphere that seems far from an intimidating bass track. But, anyone who knows SLANDER and RIOT knows how hard these duos can go. Intensity builds and the second drop unleashes absolute madness for an overall bittersweet result.
From vocal-driven bass ballad to a powerhouse banger, this track is the best of both worlds. For some, it might be the gateway to heavier stuff — and for true bass heads, this is a nice change up that packs massive feels.
