Deathpact – Cipher One EP

Having made his debut on Rezz’s album Certain Kind Of Magic with a collaboration on “Life & Death,” Deathpact now makes a grand entrance with a debut EP entitled Cipher One.

A cipher is a “secret or disguised way of writing,” which fits in not only with the braille on the EP art, but also with the artist aesthetic as a whole. Nothing is known about Deathpact to the point that even the Facebook for the artist flashes “there’s nothing here” across the top.

As for the EP, it’s a collection of dark, midtempo and techno-influenced tracks that bear strong resemblance to Rezz, Drezo, Nero and the like. Anyone with that sort of taste in dance music will find Deathpact’s unique sonic signature more than palatable.
