Lil Peep died November 15, 2017. XXXTentacion died June 18, 2018. Their posthumous collaboration “Falling Down” comes out tomorrow.
The two apparently managed to make a song together before Peep’s death – the release was in limbo until X’s death, whereupon the mothers of each artist agreed to let it see the light of day.
“From peep’s mom and I,” writes X’s mother, Cleo.
The preview plays more like an ’80s British rock ballad than a modern day hip hop project, begging the question, “What does the rest of the song sound like?”
