Axwell Λ Ingrosso just shared the official video for “Dancing Alone” featuring RØMANS, so this is the perfect time to listen to the dance anthem all over again! And, keep in mind, this might be one of the last music videos we see from the iconic duo for a while.
Offering both a nod to the legacy and a glimpse at the future of electronic music, “Dancing Alone” celebrates the traditional rave sound in a new way. The video music video does the same, flashing to nostalgic mid-2000s Ibiza clubbing and back to today. Somewhere in the back-and-forth, this visual representation totally captures the euphoric nature of the single and rave culture in general.
Axwell Λ Ingrosso previously announced their project will be put on the back burner while they focus on bringing back Swedish House Mafia. “[We] will actually put it on the shelf. As I usually say, there are three dots, it’s not two plus a dot. But we will definitely still do our individual stuff.”
It’s true, we won’t be seeing Axwell Λ Ingrosso in the club for some time. But, Swedish House Mafia is expected to be back in full swing for a 2019 tour. For now, savor this incredible track!
