Mark your calendars — The Chainsmokers and Kelsea Ballerini are officially teaming up together and the release date for their new single is set for September 18.
Talks of a collab between these superstar acts began years ago, and now it’s finally coming together. In just four days, their worlds will collide for what’s expected to be a country pop crossover track, what else?! Both fan bases are naturally hyped to hear this unique musical combo.
“Yes this is true and the songs really sick,” TCS confirm on Reddit. “This has been a making in the while. Kelsea is a good homie of ours and we both have always said we would love to worth together. The track suits her perfectly and is catchy as hell! Excited for you all to hear it!” 
More than ever, the lines of genres have blurred. We’ve heard Zedd and Grey team up with Maren Morris., and Alesso and Hailee Steinfeld with Florida Georgia Line. The Chainsmokers also put out a track with FGL, “Last Day Alive.”
