Now that Avicii’s Los Angeles home has officially been sold, the time has come to decide what’s to be done about his belongings within. It’s more than likely that his family will bring many of his possessions back home to Sweden, and other things may be auctioned off at an estate sale, but at least one piece of furniture is getting the send off it deserves.
According to Lynda Murray, who runs an interior design company in Los Angeles, the producer’s Steinway piano is being sent to a museum in Stockholm. It’s not clear how Avicii fans found the post initially, but they’ve entered the comments en masse to express their appreciation for the move. It’s also not clear in which museum the piano will end up.
