We love everything about ‘Promise’ from Warhola, a captivating listen full of rich musicality. Now it comes with its own official video, coming out courtesy of the label Epic Amsterdam.
Direction was taken on by Marie Wynants and Stef Aerts, who excel in carving out a sense of urgency and desperation with the lead character – played by Warhola himself. Juxtaposing the more light-hearted theme of the single, the pair sums it up as: “The protagonist, played by Oliver Symons (aka Warhola), is being put to the test by a rut and is driven by despair. His inner struggle is something that’s translated to the different, contrasting characters who emerge in the video.”
