It’s been a wild year for LA-based HVDES for a number of reasons, but it’s all culminated in the release of her debut EP, Revelations, out today via Kannibalen Records.
The 3-track EP plays perfectly to her dark and devilish persona, pushing boundless evil techno and bass in one seamless package. It opens with a boom with “Revelations,” a pulsating electro beast with hints of Gesaffelstein or Alesia, but a flavor all HVDES’ own.
“R U Afraid” and “Thoughtcrime,” with Auria, round out the EP, further showing HVDES’ multi-faceted talents in the studio. The former takes things in the midtempo direction, but the latter brings up the tempo to a fast-paced four-on-the-floor banger.
The whole EP is more than worthy of your 11 minutes of time. Check it out below!
