Legendary soul artist Aretha Franklin has died today at 76, surrounded by friends and family. Though she’s not an EDM artist, Franklin has inspired generations of musicians and her memory and influence can be felt throughout many tracks even in the dance music genre.
According to her publicist, Franklin died from advanced pancreatic cancer. She died in her home in Detroit.
