[PREMIERE] Herobust Finally Unleashes Insane Dubstep Track “WTF”

herobust herobust

Herobust first introduced “WTF” to the world at large in his EDC recap this past June, and ever since, it’s been one of the most sought-after dubstep tracks of the summer. We’re happy to report that the official release does not disappoint; in fact, it quite exceeds our expectations.

One of the glorious elements of goofy dubstep tunes are the crazy vocal samples right before the drop, and “WTF” is no different. The grand exception with this tune is wild arpeggio at drop, which I’ve never heard used like this. The energy in that one moment is unable to be contained, and it unleashes with reckless abandon in the drop which should for all intents and purposes be illegal.

But it doesn’t even stop there!

“WTF” has three unique drops that are all as weird as the last, and they just keep getting better and better.

“WTF was kind of a challenge I made for myself. Almost all the sounds in the track were made from processing and flexing a recording of the phrase ‘WTF.’ The result is… well, shocking” – Herobust

“WTF” is part of Herobust’s new Not Your Average EP, which Your EDM can exclusively reveal is due out winter 2018. Listen to the first single from the EP below and grab it here. And catch Herobust on his WTF tour starting tonight and going through November. Tickets available here.
