1788-L Drops First Single “FULL / BURST” From Debut EP Out This Month

Set your phasers to hype, because 1788-L has just dropped the first single “F U L L / B U R S T” to his debut EP Sentience out later this month. The first thing we want to note is that this doesn’t match up with either of the two 1788-L IDs we heard dropped at Deadrocks last month, which just means that we have so much more to look forward to.

But getting back to the track at hand, “Full Burst” is a new collaboration with totto, a relatively new producer having only put out his first track a couple months before 1788-L put out his. The two combine for a massive new tune that sees a bit of a new style for 1788-L, embracing a bouncier rhythm in the first half. Even the second drop is a bit new, juxtaposing deeper and higher synths with some interesting percussion and tempo work.

If this is any sign of what the full Sentience EP has to offer, out later this month on Zeds Dead’s label Deadbeats, we’re ready for it.

Stream on Apple Music, Spotify and more.

Along with the track, 1788-L offered up some new custom visuals, which will more than likely be featured on his forthcoming tour dates with Ekali and Rezz. Check that out below, as well.

  1. i won’t stop leaving hate comments on articles about 1788-L until this man resigns from the music industry. either that, or we’re all gonna be dead.
