Record labels are a dime a dozen these days, but some labels have stood the test of time. One of those labels is Armada Music, co-founded by Armin van Buuren way back in 2003. Armada continues to run and push big releases today, so much so the label has just received the Best International Label Award from Promo Only.
Armada received the award during the Promo Only Summer Sessions industry event. Armada CEO and co-founder Maykel Piron said the award “is a prestigious one,” and Armada is “over the moon with this amazing result.” Other labels nominated include Anjunabeats, Monstercat, Ministry of Sound and Spinnin’ Records.
Every year, the Summer Sessions event brings artists, producers, label executives and other members of the music industry together for panels, live music showcases and the awards show. Promo Only, a promotional company in the music industry, organizes the event every year.
