David Guetta remains one of EDM’s most recognizable names, memes and all. He’s released a few pieces of new music so far this year, but he’s just not stopping just yet. In fact, he’s releasing a new single and a remix for Lenny Kraviz this week.
First, the new single. Titled “Don’t Leave Me Alone,” the single features singer Anne-Marie. The single is poppy as one would expect, but it’s neat to see Guetta feature a vocalist well known for singing on anthemic dance tracks, most recently Marshmello’s “Friends.” The single dropped with a unique lyric video, complete with an art style straight out a modern Cartoon Network show.
Next up is perhaps the more interesting of the two releases: a remix of Lenny Kraviz. Guetta remixes Kraviz’ new track “Low,” which features vocals sampled from none other than Michael Jackson. Guetta gives “Low” a poppy EDM shine, perfectly complementing Kraviz and Jackson’s vocals. The remix isn’t pushing any boundaries, but does it really have to?

While its rare for an artist to release a remix and an original on the same day, let alone on a Thursday, we say the more the merrier.
