Prior to Swedish House Mafia’s reunion at Ultra Music Festival earlier this year, many posters in the area depicted trios of logos like Nike and McDonald’s, hinting at the three dots pattern known to many to signify SHM. Now, that pattern is making a comeback in London.
We Rave You spotted a series of posters on Brick Lane in London; the various designs all contained the famous Adidas logo, sometimes in a trio, sometimes accompanying the address “15 Hanbury St,” which is only a hop, skip and a jump from where the posters were found. 15 Hanbury St is the address of the local Adidas retail shop.
We Rave You makes a couple interesting observations, as well. The first of which is that Brick Lane in London is also quite close to the offices of ATM Artists, the management company led by Amy Thomson, manager of the Swedish House Mafia. The second observation, a bit more obvious, is the Adidas logo.
Along with the address, which points directly to an Adidas store, a clothing or merchandise collaboration with the brand seems inevitable, similar to what the group did after Ultra with Virgil Abloh and Nike.
The only thing missing from these posters is a date, but we have a feeling that more will be revealed in due time.
In related news, Steve Angello brought out Sebastian Ingrosso during his set at Tomorrowland for an emotional performance of “Don’t You Worry Child.” Watch it here.
