After a number of heavier releases (“Gold,” “Sound Of Where’d U Go,” “Don’t Give Up On Me”), Illenium is moving back to the melodic side with a new unreleased track called “Take You Down.”
Debuted yesterday at Global Dance Festival in Colorado during his back-to-back set with Said The Sky (who just dropped an album on Friday), “Take You Down” features an as-yet unknown female vocalist with all the trappings of an melodic Illenium classic. Swelling harmonies and bright, brilliant synths provide the perfect emotional backdrop for fans to headbang… or cry.
