Martin Garrix Offers His Own Remix With Cesqeaux On “Ocean” Remix EP

Martin Garrix & Khalid’s “Ocean” was released in June to mixed reviews. For us here at Your EDM, we weren’t the biggest fans of it. Keeping in mind that artists are allowed to experiment with different styles, it still just didn’t hit the right notes in our opinion.

That being said, Garrix and Khalid have just released the first volume of remixes for “Ocean,” with seven unique interpretations from Bart B More, Cazztek, DubVision, Goja, Todd Helder, Silque, and Martin Garrix himself along with Cesqeaux.

Putting special attention on the Martin Garrix and Cesqeaux remix, a pairing we never thought we’d see, the two transform the original into an exciting and experimental tune that is sure to surprise as much as the artist pairing does.

Our favorites of the bunch, aside from Martin Garrix and Cesqeaux, have to be DubVision and Goja. DubVision brings the remix in a way that we believe Garrix should have in the first place, putting a highly enjoyable house spin. Goja, on the other hand, puts a much darker twist on the track than any of the other tracks.

Check out the full remix EP and let us know your favorite in the comments!
