Goldman Sachs has just named David Solomon its next CEO. Why does that matter to us? Well, he DJs in his spare time.
We’ve covered Goldman Sachs executive David Solomon a bit in the past. Under the name DJ D-Sol, Solomn has played New York and Miami clubs, plus the MTV Europe Music Awards. Solomon will replace Lloyd Blankfein as CEO, who ends his CEO run after 12 years of service. Solomon even releases music; check out his 2018 track “Don’t Stop” below:
Solomon not only enjoys DJing, but partying as well. In a BBC story, Solomon is seen pictured with none other than P. Diddy. We’re curious if Solomon will be able to DJ given his new role, but we certainly hope so. Judging from videos, he doesn’t sound half-bad. Plus it’s very anti-corporate to see a massive bank CEO DJ in his spare time.
